Honesty is essential in every profession, but it’s a foremost need in an industry like real estate. When someone makes a decision to invest in a property that is likely to be the most substantial financial transaction of their life. Unfortunately, some fraudulent incidents have saddled the real estate industry with a poor reputation.
Part of the problem is the perception of a vast number of
unscrupulous people who believe becoming a property dealer will offer them an
escalator to easy money. If you are
unable to spot a reference to the exact years of experience a dealer has in
real estate, then it’s because he either has none or maybe very little. Beware
of dealers who toss numbers at you just to convince you that they are a
specialist. They sometimes find it difficult to draw the line between what they
wish to become and what they actually are, so don’t be fooled.
The question is, which real estate dealer is trustworthy?

The problem is that you rarely hear about the honest dealers
in the news, media mostly covers only the shady scams. One out of the recent
ones is a complaint against a real estate company called Revanta WelfareSociety. The complaint was made viral on the internet on complaint web portals
like ‘www.complaintszone.com’ and ‘www.complaintsaboutbusiness.co.in’.
The complaint quoted a name of a property dealer who committed a forgery and
the victim accused the company for it. People confuse between an individual dealer
who works for various real estate companies and the company real estate agents.
Revanta Welfare Society conducted an investigation and figured that the dealer is
not linked with the company and had either lied or was misunderstood as the
company agent. Primarily if an individual dealer conducts a fraud in the name
of a real estate company, the complaint must be made against the dealer, not
the company. It’s the duty of the investor to scrutinize and evaluate the
authenticity of the property dealer before making such a huge investment.
Surprisingly, the
complaint portals ‘www.complaintszone.com’ and ‘www.complaintsaboutbusiness.co.in’
do not allow the company to respond to the complaint. They refuse to open a
dialogue between the person who wrote the complaint and the company thus
misleading a population over false accusations. It is suspected that these web
portals are hand in glove with the malicious act. Revanta Welfare Society is
preparing legal actions against them for attempting to defame the name of the
company.
These false tactics are in no way followed by the entire real
estate fraternity. There exist dealers who obey rules and are generally
trustworthy. By simply asking for written proof of the made claims, it is
possible to negate the effects of this ploy. The safest option is to contact the real estate company directly for
agent support and visit the property before making the investment. Stay
calm. Don’t rush, work with the people you trust, and you will get all that a
real estate investment promises to offer.
